We expect to lose people when we have a hurricane. So, when a Category 5 named Ian blew through, we lost people. But, not my friends. They were here and continued to be here, helping where they could. Not true now. They will leave as soon as they can.

So?

This is why I choose to see this differently. Not "thugs". Not black racists. Not a threat to civil society.
William Temple
There are quotes that stick in my head and I just can't get rid of them. I suspect that this is because they reflect my own beliefs or interests. Any time that I think of William Temple, I remember The Church is the only society that exists for the benefit of those who are not [...]
Ch Ch Ch Changes
Welcome back! As you may have noticed, I have re-opened this site and upgraded it. A couple of years ago, I began to consider developing a video (VLOG) blog on spirituality. I do not take time to look at news or social media on Sunday mornings and thought that she was talking about the murder of the young singer. [...]
Oh Happy Day

I grew up with televangelists as babysitters. Well, ok, they didn't come to our house and take care of me. My mother's desire was that I go play somewhere or watch television. I spent a lot of time doing the latter. It kept me occupied. On Saturday nights we would watch the country music shows [...]
